Kiwi Apple and Mint Punch



Kiwi Apple and Mint Punch is a refreshing drink i experimented years back when i used o blog hop a lot, i saw a similar combination and made some alterations to come up with this amazing drink which has become a regular at our place. 
Cool facts about Kiwi that i discovered: Kiwi fruit could lower cholesterol and stress, whilefighting cancer. Phenolics, natural antioxidants in the fruit may help prevent cancer and other diseases. Inositol, found in the fruit can be beneficial in treating depression. Kiwi fruit is also known as Chinese gooseberry. It has more vitamin C than orange, as much potassium as banana.
Here goes a quick and tangy recipe for this punch or juice, which has an unforgettable colour and is amazingly refreshing .. a real treat for the summers.


  • 1 fresh Kiwi Fruit
  • 10 – 15 Mint sprigs
  • 200ml Apple juice/Appy Fizz
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp honey syrup(1part honey one part water)
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 ring of kiwi and a mint sprig for garnishing.


  1. Cut the Kiwi fruit into slices, leave aside one slice for garnishing.
  2. Take the kiwi and the mint sprigs in a deep glass, top it with the lime juice and honey syrup, muddle them up well, if u don’t have a muddler, no worries, use the regular stuff you use to crush ginger or any other spice.
  3.  Make sure you have muddled them well so that its all juicy and the mints are crushed well as we want the flavour to spread out and intermingle.
  4. Strain out the pulp into an already chilled glass(believe me the effect is different even for fruit juices).
  5. Pour out the juice into this glass, add some ice cubes to it.
  6. Pour on top of it the apple juice / Appy Fizz, and have no regrets, it added a zing to it. Totally refreshing.
  7. Garnish it with a mint sprig and half split kiwi, here you go all set to BEAT the HEAT
